Easily collect index/metadata for your Document Management System
Indexer allows the collection of controlled Document Management System index data outside the DMS environment. It provides a simple Windows interface that helps the drafter capture metadata of the attributes required for files stored in the document management system.
Indexer works in 4 ways:

Offline Metadata Entry - A user can select files and enter metadata (attributes) on any PC using the Indexer program

Batch Upload of Files and Metadata - When offline metadata-entry is complete, the “Submittal Upload” feature within ProjectWise can be used to upload the files and their attributes into the document management system

Online Metadata Editing - Using an additional menu item within the Document Management System, the simple Indexer dialogs can be used to update attributes

File and Metadata Download - In case the files and their metadata are required outside of ProjectWise, the customization provides a command to export drawing files with their metadata-files in the same XML format
