Altiva Software Commends Product Acquisition by Bentley Systems, Inc.

June 26, 2006 (Houston, TX) — Altiva Software congratulates Bentley Systems, Incorporated on its acquisition of CADscript and MAPscript from Corporate Montage. Corporate Montage is the company from which Altiva Software was spun off in January of this year.

CADscript and MAPscript are map publishing and finishing products to enhance the printing and production of maps and infrastructure designs. Bentley announced the product acquisition and immediate plans to integrate them into the Bentley portfolio at its inaugural European BE Conference held in Prague, Czech Republic earlier this month.

"Altiva Software inherits from Corporate Montage a heritage of innovative software design that helps businesses gain access to new ROIs from their CAD data," explains Altiva Software CEO Philip Hurlston. "This acquisition by Bentley is a testament to the quality of the products and to the important role that smaller companies can play in developing key niche products to complement the broader functionality of the Bentley offerings."

Altiva Software was formed to concentrate on the critical issue of CAD standards management and to focus on the continued development and marketing of CADconform, a software add-on that works seamlessly between MicroStation® and AutoCAD® to promote and enforce 100% conformance to CAD standards.

Corporate Montage is a privately-held, fifteen-year-old company specializing in CAD-related software and services for the engineering/construction, public utility and oil & gas exploration industries. It is headquartered in Perth, Australia with offices in Sydney, Wiesbaden (Germany), and Houston. For the last six years, Corporate Montage has been marketing and selling CADconform and will continue to work with Altiva Software on these efforts.

About CADconform and Altiva Software

CADconform® is a software add-on that works seamlessly between AutoCAD® and MicroStation® to promote and enforce 100% conformance to CAD standards. It is the only product of its kind that provides an encrypted, tamper-proof electronic seal ensuring data integrity and user confidence.

Properly enforced CAD standards provide strategic business value including: re-use of intellectual property stored in drawings, better interoperability and project management, and significant cost-savings and contributions to HS&E.

Altiva Software is the only company dedicated to 100% conformance to CAD standards. It is headquartered in Houston, Texas, with offices in Germany and Australia.
