Altiva Software Announces Deal with So-Deep, Inc.

April 3, 2006 (Houston, TX) — Altiva Software announces a new CADconform customer, So-Deep, Inc. So-Deep created the profession of subsurface utility engineering, the branch of engineering that locates, maps and relocates utility infrastructure such as gas, water, electrical, and communications that exist underground, below our city streets.

So-Deep first assessed CADconform at the urging of one of its clients, a state Department of Transportation (DOT). That particular state DOT uses CADconform to enforce CAD standards for its drawings and is recommending that its consultants and contractors use the software also. So-Deep quickly saw the value of CADconform for managing and enforcing CAD standards for its many clients, which include numerous other state departments of transportation.

"With CADconform, we can easily, affordably and accurately create and check against multiple sets of standards and ensure our clients that the drawings we provide them conform 100% to their CAD standards," said Cary Skahn, manager-engineering/CADD (corporate), So-Deep. "So-Deep has a reputation for innovation, quality and value. CADconform is a new tool in our arsenal for continuing that tradition."

"CADconform empowers companies to improve efficiency and increase data integrity," states Altiva Software CEO Philip Hurlston. "Our consulting company clients see CADconform as a way to increase their competitive advantage and to offer premium services to their clients."
